This two-day interactive course that has been created especially for Project Managers and Principal Contractor Site Managers (PCSM) and reviews the National Grid Supplier Requirements as per the PCSM nomination form requirements. The course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to manage substation safety and operational procedures to National Grid standards and is essential for those designated as Substation Responsible or Technical Person roles within the UK energy sector.
By completing this course, attendees will be qualified to safely manage and oversee work in substations, ensuring that they meet National Grid’s policies and operational safety rules.
This course is designed to provide guidance and best practice for those working on or in proximity to National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) assets, it references NGET procedures and industry practices to support understanding and application in the workplace. It is not an official NGET training course and is not endorsed by or delivered on behalf of NGET.
