The CABWI NCO2 Water Service Layer course provides Level 2 training for operatives responsible for the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of water service pipework. This nationally recognised qualification develops both practical skills and technical knowledge required to work safely and effectively on service layer networks, ensuring compliance with water industry standards and regulations.
Delegates gain hands-on experience in preparing, installing, and connecting water services, maintaining existing infrastructure, and managing utilities risks. The course also covers hygiene, pressure testing, and chlorination procedures, all delivered in accordance with CABWI and EUSR requirements.
Successful completion enables learners to achieve EUSR NCO2 Water Service Layer registration, valid for five years and essential for site access on water network projects.

Although there are no formal entry requirements, learners must be currently employed within the water industry and actively involved in service laying operations in order to generate the required workplace evidence for assessment. And have a basic level of written and spoken English.
