The EUSR SCO RO (Routine Operations) course – previously known as SCO5 – provides targeted training for individuals responsible for supervising and carrying out routine operations on gas networks. This half-day module builds on the SCO Core modules and ensures delegates understand the specific procedures, responsibilities, and risk-control requirements associated with day-to-day gas maintenance tasks.
The course follows the industry-approved SCO framework and aligns with IGEM/GL/6 Edition 3, reinforcing a risk-based approach to gas safety management. Delegates gain the competence needed to safely manage routine work activities, complete required documentation, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

This course is intended for experienced operatives or supervisors who already hold a current (or recently expired) SCO5 certification and are required to renew their registration for continued authorisation of routine gas operations.
