CITB Funding for Site Safety Plus Courses in 2026

CITB funding has changed. Most short course grants have ended, and support for courses such as SMSTS, SSSTS, temporary works and Health and Safety Awareness now comes through CITB’s regional Employer Networks.

If your company is CITB registered and up to date with the levy, you may be able to get part of your training funded:

• Micro, small and medium employers (1 to 249 staff): match funding or a fixed contribution through your local Employer Network, up to an annual cap of £1,500, £2,000 or £4,500 depending on company size
• Large employers (250+ staff): CITB’s separate Large Employer Fund

As a member of the CITB Training Provider Network, Pragmatic Consulting can deliver Employer Network-funded training. Tell your Employer Network adviser you’d like to train with us, and once funding is agreed, we’ll invoice you only for your share.

Budgets are limited and allocated through the year, so planning your training early gives you the best chance of securing support.
