The Chlorination, Flushing & Sampling course provides delegates with the practical skills and technical understanding required to safely disinfect, flush, and sample potable water systems in accordance with UK water industry standards.
This hands-on programme is designed for operatives, supervisors, and technicians involved in commissioning new water mains, refurbishing existing pipework, or maintaining clean water networks. Delegates will learn how to correctly apply disinfection techniques, follow approved flushing procedures, and collect representative water samples that meet regulatory and laboratory acceptance criteria.
The course also emphasises the importance of maintaining network hygiene, preventing contamination, and ensuring compliance with current guidelines such as BS EN 806, BS 8558, and local water authority requirements.
