The National Grid NSI2 Limited Renewal (Refresher) course is designed for delegates who already hold the NG NSI2 Limited certification, including Practical Application of Drain Earths, and have previously completed the full practical training and still hold a valid authorisation for Competent Persons Substation .

This refresher ensures operatives maintain competence, reinforce safe working practices, and remain compliant with current National Grid Safety Instructions (NSIs) for the application and removal of drain earths on substations.

  • Safe application and removal of drain earths
  • Recent changes to National Grid Safety Instruction NSI2
  • Risk awareness and hazard management
  • Reinforcement of best practice and operational standards

This renewal training supports ongoing authorisation by ensuring delegates’ knowledge remains current and aligned with National Grid requirements.
