The EUSR-Endorsed Abrasive Wheels – Mounting & Practical Use course provides essential safety instruction for anyone required to fit, inspect or operate equipment using abrasive or cutting wheels. Delivered by industry-qualified instructors, this 1-day programme ensures full compliance with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) and HSE guidance HSG17.
Suitable for both new operators and those needing refresher training, the course combines instructor-led theory, hands-on practical assessment, and real-world demonstrations using 4.5-inch and 9-inch grinders, and cut-off saws. Delegates learn how to correctly select, test and mount abrasive wheels, minimise risk, and operate machinery safely in high-risk environments.
