The CABWI NCO2 Water Main Layer course provides Level 2 training for operatives responsible for the installation, jointing, maintenance, and commissioning of water mains within the utility sector. This qualification develops practical skills and technical knowledge required to work safely and efficiently on mains networks while complying with water industry standards and regulations.
Delegates gain hands-on experience in planning and preparing main installations, excavation support, jointing techniques, reinstatement, and pressure testing, all in accordance with safety and environmental protocols. Successful completion enables learners to achieve EUSR NCO2 Water Main Layer registration, valid for five years and essential for site access on mains operations.
