The NUCO Food Safety in Catering course is a nationally recognised qualification that equips individuals working in food handling, catering, hospitality, or food service environments with essential knowledge and skills to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
This one-day, instructor-led programme helps delegates understand the legal requirements, hygiene principles, and practical procedures necessary to prevent foodborne illness, cross-contamination, and other food safety risks. It is suitable for new staff as well as experienced food handlers who need a formal, recognised certificate for employment or regulatory compliance.
Upon successful completion, trainees receive a Level 2 Food Hygiene in Catering certificate; providing a strong foundation for safe working practices and serving as a stepping stone for further food safety or management training.
