The National Grid NSI2 course provides both practical and theoretical training on the safe application of drain earths in accordance with National Grid Safety Instruction 2 (NSI2).
This course is essential for Competent Persons and authorised personnel working on high-voltage systems, ensuring they can safely apply and remove drain earths, maintain situational awareness, and comply with National Grid safety protocols.
During the course, delegates will learn how to:

The NSI 2 training (including the practical application of drain earths) is intended for individuals who are required to undertake isolation, earthing, and work on or near high-voltage equipment, with additional responsibility for physically applying portable or drain earths.
Photo ID – such as Passport or Driving Licence Flame Retardant Overalls or two piece, gloves, safety glasses, Hard Hat and Flarme Retardant HI Vis (if overalls or two piece not Flame Retardant) and Safety Boots with laces, toe protection and mid sole protection.
