Course Overview

The Paediatric First Aid course provides essential first aid knowledge and hands-on skills for anyone caring for infants, babies, or children — ideal for childcare professionals, teachers, childminders, nursery staff, youth workers, sports instructors, or parents and guardians.

This training equips delegates to respond confidently and effectively to a wide range of medical emergencies involving children, enabling them to act promptly and safely when every second counts.

The course uses a blend of theoretical instruction and practical exercises, covering both basic and emergency first aid techniques specific to children’s physiology, with particular emphasis on the distinct medical needs of infants and young children.

On successful completion, participants receive a nationally recognised certification, valid for three years, that meets the requirements for many childcare, education, and youth-oriented organisations.
