The NCO2 Gas Conversion Course is designed for professionals already qualified in Water Service or Main Layer network operations who wish to transition into the gas utilities sector. This CABWI-accredited course recognises existing water infrastructure skills and focuses on gas-specific installation, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance, avoiding unnecessary repetition of foundational training.
Over 10 days, delegates develop the technical knowledge and practical skills required for safe gas service and mains installation. The programme combines classroom instruction with hands-on exercises, covering differences between water and gas network procedures, gas jointing techniques, risk assessment, and operational documentation.
On completion, delegates are eligible for EUSR NCO2 Gas registration and receive a recognised qualification for compliance and site access in gas network operations.
