The Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is a practical, 1-day programme designed to give learners the essential knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to emergency situations involving babies and children.
This qualification meets the EYFS requirements for emergency first aid and is suitable for early years practitioners, childcare staff, teachers, parents, and anyone responsible for the care of infants and young children.
Through hands-on demonstrations, scenario-based activities, and guided practice with training manikins, delegates will learn how to deliver immediate lifesaving treatment, recognise serious paediatric conditions, and provide safe, effective first aid until professional help arrives.
The course follows current Resuscitation Council UK and HSE guidance, ensuring the techniques taught reflect the latest recommended practice.
