The Thames Water Passport is a mandatory health, safety, and environmental training programme for anyone working on Thames Water sites or assets. As part of Thames Water’s “Zero Incidents, Zero Harm, Zero Compromise” safety culture, all direct employees, contractors, and supply-chain partners must hold a valid Thames Water Passport before starting work.
This half-day course provides delegates with the essential knowledge required to understand site hazards, comply with Thames Water’s safety expectations, and adopt consistent safe working practices across all projects. The training also introduces key operational risks, behavioural expectations, and customer-focused standards that must be upheld when working within the Thames Water network.
Upon completion, delegates will be issued with a Thames Water Passport via SkillGuard for Utilities, which employers must register delegates for prior to attending the course.
This training ensures every person entering a Thames Water site is aligned with their safety standards, risk controls, and behavioural expectations, helping maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
