The CITB SEATS Course is a one-day course designed to provide construction professionals with a solid understanding of environmental management on site, including current legislation, best practice, and sustainability principles.
This course helps delegates recognise the environmental impact of construction activities and equips them with the knowledge and skills to control, reduce, and manage these impacts effectively. By the end of the day, participants will be able to work in a more sustainable, environmentally conscious manner, helping to protect ecosystems and meet the expectations of clients and major contractors.
Completion of the SEATS programme leads to a highly recognised qualification, endorsed within the construction industry, and is valid for five years, ensuring your environmental awareness remains up to date.

The CITB SEATS Course (Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme) covers the essential knowledge and skills required to work in an environmentally responsible manner on construction sites.

This structure ensures delegates leave the course with the knowledge to reduce environmental impact, comply with legislation, and adopt sustainable practices on site.
Each delegate will receive the CITB Mandatory Publications (eBooks for virtual courses and hardcopy for face-to-face courses)
The exam must be taken at the end of the site environmental awareness training scheme.
On successful completion of the 1-day site environmental awareness training scheme, the delegates are awarded the Construction Industry Training Board (Site Safety Plus) Certificate in PDF format, this is sent electronically to the course booker.
To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake a course before the expiry date on your certificate, otherwise the full course will need to be retaken.
