We’ve Achieved a 100% Achilles UVDB B1 Audit Score
We’re really pleased to share that Pragmatic Consulting Ltd has achieved a perfect 100% score in our latest Achilles UVDB B1 audit.
It’s a big milestone for Vicky Jones and the team, and something we’re genuinely proud of; not because of the number itself, but because of what it represents: consistent standards, strong systems, and a real commitment to doing things properly.
So, what is the Achilles UVDB B1 audit?
If you’re not familiar with it, the Achilles UVDB (Utilities Vendor Database) B1 audit is one of the key assessments used across the utilities sector to check supplier standards.
It looks at how well a company manages:
- Health & Safety
- Environmental practices
- Quality systems
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
The B1 audit is more in-depth than a basic registration — it includes both a detailed review of processes and an on-site assessment to make sure everything is working in practice, not just on paper.
Why this matters
In industries like utilities and construction, audits like this aren’t just admin exercises — they genuinely matter when it comes to supplier approval and trust.
Confidence for clients
Major utility organisations such as National Grid, SSE and Thames Water use UVDB to help identify reliable suppliers.
A 100% score gives that extra reassurance that we’re operating to a very high standard.
Less hassle, more trust
Strong audit results help reduce unnecessary checks during procurement and onboarding.
It means clients can feel confident they’re working with a supplier who already meets strict expectations.
Doing things properly, consistently
More than anything, this result reflects how we work day to day — focusing on safety, quality and compliance, not just when an audit is due.
A team effort
This achievement is really down to the hard work of Vicky Jones and the wider team, who keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
It’s a nice reminder that these results don’t come from one big moment — they come from consistency over time.
Why UVDB matters in our world
For anyone working in utilities or infrastructure, UVDB accreditation is a recognised benchmark.
It helps with:
- Supplier approval processes
- Framework access
- Faster onboarding
- Confidence from clients and contractors
Final thoughts
We’re proud of this result, but more importantly, we’re proud of what it represents — a team that cares about doing things properly and maintaining high standards across everything we do.
So, a big well done to everyone involved
