Overview
Our three-day course has been designed for practicing electricians and domestic installers, however it is also very popular with other professionals such as contracts managers, designers, electrical engineers, consultants, surveyors, and other related trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of the IEE Wiring Regulations.
Course Details
The 18th Edition course covers the BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 including the amendment 2 which was released in April 2022.
The course is split to give approximately ½ day of learning covering how to navigate your way around the 18th Edition book. 2 days of teaching and a ½ day for the final 2 hour exam. Homework is usually given on both day 1 and 2.
The scope of this training includes the content and, where appropriate, the practical application and practices of regulations and requirements of the following elements of BS 7671:
• Part 1: Scope, object, and fundamental principles
• Part 2: Definitions
• Part 3: Assessment of general characteristics
• Part 4: Protection for safety
• Part 5: Selection and erection of equipment
• Part 6: Inspection and testing
• Part 7: Special installations or locations
• Part 8: Functional requirements
• The Appendices
