Course Overview
This one-day EUSR SCO (Safe Control of Operations) Modules 1 & 2: Core & Permit to Work (Was previously SCO1) scheme is designed for all Authorising Engineers and Competent Persons (NROs supervisory level).
Course Content:
The course content and delivery specifications have been developed through consultation with the gas industry. Training material is produced and managed by EUSR on the industry's behalf.
The course heavily uses the IGEM/GL/6 Edition 3 which was introduced into SCO to increase the emphasis on risk-based management of gas safety systems and gives gas distribution companies the flexibility to develop their own gas safety procedures based on meeting the common requirements of GL/6.
The SCO scheme is based around the requirements for meeting GL/6 compliance.
