The EUSR Approved COSHH Awareness course provides essential knowledge for anyone who works with, handles, transports, or may be exposed to hazardous substances in the workplace. Under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH), employers have a legal responsibility to protect workers from the risks associated with chemicals, fumes, dusts, vapours, biological agents, and other harmful materials.
This practical awareness-level training ensures delegates understand the dangers hazardous substances pose to health and how to implement appropriate control measures to prevent harm. Suitable across industries including construction, utilities, maintenance, manufacturing, and facilities management, it supports safe working and compliance with UK legislation.

At the end of the course, participants will complete a set of verbal, written and multiple-choice questions, plus onsite assessment.
Successful candidates will receive an EUSR Approved COSHH Awareness Certificate, valid for three years. To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the assessment before the expiry date on your card.
There are no formal entry requirements however a basic level of written and spoken English is required.
