This half-day renewal ensures that delegates remain current with best practices in accordance with National Grid Safety Instructions (NSIs).

This course is suitable for:

• Qualified staff due for NSI 2 renewal
• Contractors and engineers working under National Grid Safety Rules
• Anyone responsible for earth application or removal on high-voltage equipment

Course Content

Assessment & Certification

Delegates will complete a short assessment at the end of the course. Upon successful completion, a renewal certificate accredited by National Grid will be issued.

Prerequisites

In order to be eligible for National Grid ROMP (Restoration Of Motive Power), you will need to hold

• An NG Competent Person Substation and
• Attended an NSI 2 Practical Course delivered by the National Grid Academy

If you haven't previously held NSI 2 Limited within the last 2 years, then you can book the NSI2 Limited inc Practical Application of Drain Earths.

This National Grid training and assessment is only available at the following locations:-

• Eakring, Nottinghamshire (Tues to Friday most weeks) 
• Blackley, Manchester (Mon to Friday) 
• Graveley, Hertfordshire (Mon to Thursday most weeks) 
• Melksham, Wiltshire (1 week a month) 
• Littlebrook, Kent (1 week a month) 
• Langley Park, Durham (2 to 3 days a month)
